Herewith I beg to subait for the information of

the Goverment a copy of a letter from Mr. J. H. Oldham

Secretary, Conference of Missionary Societies in Great

Britain and Ireland, alse copy of certain enclosures

forwarded by him. The Trustees will be obliged if, in

view of what has been written, the Government will state

whether they have any advice or instructions to offer on

the subject of Mr. Oldham's letter and enclosures.
